On August 28, at the Palace of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, presented state awards to workers of various professions, labor veterans, and a group of former deputies of the historic XVI session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of State Independence.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, delivered a speech and congratulated those present on the important historical date — the 35th anniversary of State Independence.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, stated that great constructive measures have been implemented precisely due to the patriotic efforts, honest and hard work of the glorious people of Tajikistan.

It was emphasized that in this process, the contribution of patriotic entrepreneurs who, in cooperation with the Government of the country, are actively participating in making our beloved Tajikistan prosperous and beautiful is clearly felt.

The President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, stated that the leadership of the state and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan welcome any constructive initiatives and actions and always appreciate worthy achievements and services.

It was said that throughout the country, in order to adequately celebrate the 35th anniversary of State Independence, with the active participation and contribution of the population, especially the honorable entrepreneurs of the republic, 35,300 facilities of various purposes have been built and put into operation. This measure has led to the fact that today the image of all cities and districts has completely changed, hundreds of thousands of jobs have been created, and the living conditions of the country’s people have improved significantly.

It was noted that our honorable people, with their strong determination and sincere hard work, are making our beloved Motherland even more prosperous and advanced, raising its reputation in the world community, and in this way proudly continuing the historical path of our people, which began with independence, freedom, and national unity.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, expressed confidence that the 35th anniversary of State Independence, as a blessed national holiday, will give fresh impetus to the further expansion of self-awareness, national unity, a sense of patriotism of every honorable individual of Tajikistan.

For high labor achievements, effective work in the civil service, development of science and culture and other sectors of the national economy, 162 employees of the spheres of science and culture, healthcare, production of goods and services and local government bodies, received state awards of the Republic of Tajikistan from the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon — the Order of Honor, 1st degree, the Order of Honor, 2nd degree, the honorary title of Honored Worker of Tajikistan, the Order of Ismoili Somoni, 2nd degree, the honorary title of People’s Writer of Tajikistan, the honorary title of People’s Poet of Tajikistan, the honorary title of Master of Science and Technology of Tajikistan, the honorary title of Master of Arts of Tajikistan, the honorary title of Honorary Donor of Tajikistan, the Medal of Merit, the Jubilee Medal of the 35th Anniversary of State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Award of the Republic of Tajikistan named after Abuali ibn Sino in the fields of science and technology.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan “On awarding employees of the spheres of science and culture, healthcare, production of goods and services, local government bodies, other civil servants and entrepreneurs with state awards of the Republic of Tajikistan”, a number of employees and veterans were awarded state awards of the Republic of Tajikistan for their valuable contribution to the development of science and culture of the country, protection of public health, effective work in the civil service and high achievements in production and entrepreneurship in accordance with Article 69 of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the ceremony of awarding state awards, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, especially emphasized the contribution of all those present to the development of the sectors, the prosperity of the land and the progress and development of the capital of the country — the city of Dushanbe.

The result of the awards was that today, at the award ceremony, 1 person was awarded the Order of Ismoil Somoni, 1st degree, 4 people with the Order of Honor, 1st degree, 10 people with the Order of Honor, 2nd degree, 95 people with the Jubilee Medal of the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, 13 people with the honorary title of Honored Worker of Tajikistan, 2 people with the Order of Ismoil Somoni, 2nd degree, 3 people with the honorary title of People’s Writer of Tajikistan, 1 person with the honorary title of People’s Poet of Tajikistan, 2 people with the honorary title of Master of Science and Technology, 1 person was awarded the honorary title of Master of Art of Tajikistan, 1 person was awarded the honorary title of Honored Donor of Tajikistan, 21 people were awarded the Medal of Merit.

According to the decision of the Committee for the State Award of the Republic of Tajikistan named after Abuali ibn Sino in the fields of science and technology under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on awarding the state award in 2026, 8 people were awarded the state award in the fields of science and technology.

At the award ceremony to celebrate the 35th anniversary of State Independence, a group of labor veterans and former deputies of the fateful XVI Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan were awarded state awards for their meritorious services and great contribution to the development of Tajik parliamentarism.
