Tajikistan, Eurasian Fund Discuss Digital Economy and E-Government Development

Issues related to digitization, the development of information and communication technologies, and state policy in these areas were discussed at a meeting in Dushanbe between the director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and representatives of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development, NIAT Khovar reported, citing the agency.
The sides exchanged views on opportunities to implement joint projects with the fund that could contribute directly to the development of Tajikistan’s digital economy and private sector. They also discussed the implementation of the project “Increasing Institutional Capacity for the Development of Digital State Services” as part of efforts to establish fruitful cooperation.
As part of the meeting, the sides visited the State Services Center in Dushanbe and its subordinate district centers. They reviewed the provision of state services in electronic form, the level of service digitization and the center’s technical capabilities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides expressed readiness to continue cooperation, develop projects and implement joint initiatives aimed at advancing the digital economy and digital government services.
