Tajikistan, Oman discuss strengthening political and economic ties

Tajik Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda met Aug. 28 with Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthi, Oman’s deputy foreign minister for political affairs, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The sides emphasized the importance of establishing a Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation to further develop bilateral ties.
The officials also expressed interest in expanding political, economic and trade relations, as well as investment cooperation and ties in tourism, science, education and culture.
