On September 20, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, visited Bobojon Ghafurov district as part of his ongoing working visit to the cities and districts of Sughd Province.
First, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, officially inaugurated the oil production facility of Anko Invest Limited Liability Company, which was constructed by the Farovon Company Group.

The new facility was built to develop domestic production, process raw materials, and supply the domestic market with vegetable oil.

The production capacity of the facility is an important indicator of its capabilities. The facility can process up to 200 tons of raw materials per day. Its annual capacity is up to 70,000 tons of oilseeds. His Excellency Emomali Rahmon was informed that three main production lines are operating at the facility, where oil extraction, oil processing, and the filling of finished products into containers are carried out within the same production complex.

Overall, the production facility of Anko Invest LLC consists of five production lines.

The production processes are automated using modern technologies and advanced equipment, and products are manufactured in compliance with technological requirements and established quality standards.

The facility’s main products include sunflower oil, cottonseed oil, and blended oil.

The facility’s products are marketed under the brand name Anko Invest Oil throughout the country and are packaged in one-, two-, three-, and five-liter containers, depending on consumer demand.

The construction of the new facility has also contributed to the creation of new jobs. During the construction phase, 50 local specialists were provided with temporary employment. Currently, more than 20 people are permanently employed at the oil production facility.

As production volumes increase and the facility’s full capacity is utilized, opportunities to expand production activities and create additional jobs will also grow.

According to the facility’s production capabilities, if it operates at full capacity, it can meet up to 30 percent of the country’s domestic demand for vegetable oil. This figure demonstrates the facility’s significant potential for developing domestic production.

The facility’s raw materials are primarily imported from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Thus, an important production chain has been established within the country, extending from the import of raw materials to their processing, production, and packaging of finished products. The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, highly praised the entrepreneurs’ initiative and emphasized that the construction of such enterprises creates favorable conditions for increasing domestic production and reducing dependence on imports of finished products.
