During his continued working visit to Devashtich District, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, also remotely inaugurated the building of Secondary Education Institution No. 70, constructed in Bahoriston Township of the Yakhtan rural community with contributions from government authorities, entrepreneurs, and local residents.

The school building is designed to accommodate 480 students in two shifts and consists of eight classrooms and spacious, well-equipped subject-specific laboratories and teaching rooms. A total of 20 teachers are employed at the institution, providing education and upbringing to the younger generation.

Construction work on the facility began in July 2026 and was completed to a high standard of quality.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the classrooms had been furnished with desks, chairs, educational materials, and other necessary supplies.

The school grounds have been landscaped and beautified with well-maintained pathways, flowers, shrubs, and shade trees.

The school’s teachers and students, together with residents of the newly established Bahoriston Township, expressed their gratitude to the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, for the opening of this centre of education and knowledge, which provides modern facilities and a favourable environment for learning.
