Tajik Permanent Representative to North Atlantic Treaty Organisation presented credentials to NATO Secretary General
Dushanbe, 18.07.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Newly-appointed Tajikistan’s Permanent Representative to NATO Erkinhon Rahmatullozoda presented credentials to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on 15 of July 2016.
He conveyed greetings of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, the two discussed issues related to cooperation between Tajikistan and NATO, strengthening of Tajikistan’s border security, joint efforts to combat international terrorism and drug trafficking, bilateral cooperation in demining and disaster relief, as well as cooperation in the framework of the NATO research programs.
