Business roundtable on the theme «Development opportunities in Central Asia»
Dushanbe, 04.08.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. In the afternoon of August 3, 2016, a business roundtable titled «Development opportunities in Central Asia» took place in the building of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce with the participation of Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries and a wide range of American entrepreneurs.
According to Tajik MFA Information Department, during this event, participants exchanged views on regional economic cooperation, attraction of direct American investments in the Central Asian region, elimination of barriers and development of trade in Central Asia.
Head of the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov spoke on the three strategic objectives of the country and stated that Tajikistan is a supporter of regional economic integration and regional trade development with the use of existing opportunities and capacities.
It was emphasized that Tajikistan has identified the promotion of entrepreneurial sphere as one of the priorities of its economic policy, and all necessary measures are being taken to ensure a favorable investment climate.
