Inna Deriglazova of Russia wins Olympic gold in women’s foil individual
Dushanbe, 11.08.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Inna Deriglazova of Russia was won gold in women’s foil individual at the Olympic Games in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday.
According to TASS, in the final bout, Deriglazova defeated Elisa Di Francisca of Italy 12-11.
Deriglazova’s Olympic gold medal is the first one for Russia in this discipline since 1968.
This medal is the 15th one won by Russia at the Rio Games. In all, Russia has four gold medals, seven silver medals and four bronze medals.
