32 IS militants killed in Afghanistan
Dushanbe, 11.08.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The ongoing operations against Islamic State (IS) fighters in Achin district of the eastern Nangarhar province in Afghanistan have killed 32 insurgents and injured more than two dozen others over the past 24 hours, said a statement of 201 Silab Corps stationed in the eastern region on Thursday.
«Pounding IS positions from the ground and air have killed 32 rebels and injured 26 others over the past 24 hours,» the statement said.
According to Xinhua news agency, several villages have also been liberated from IS clutch over the period.
