Dushanbe, 18.08.2016 /NIAT «Khovar»/. Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction will be held in late autumn of current year in India.

According to the press center of Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defence /CES/ of the country, the Chairman of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defence under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Rustam Nazarzoda will take part in the work of the conference on behalf of Tajikistan.

According to the source, the head of the CES and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India to the Republic of Tajikistan Somnath Gosh have discussed the issues of preparations for this International Ministerial Conference. The issue of signing the document on cooperation between India and Tajikistan in the sphere of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations has also been considered at the meeting.

Rustam Nazarzoda has noted an importance of implementing joint actions in order to further develop and strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations of natural and technogenic character.
