The 2nd “Asia Cooperation Dialogue” Summit was held in Bangkok, Thailand
Dushanbe, 11.10.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Nematullo Hikmatullozoda took part in the 2nd “Asia Cooperation Dialogue” Summit, which was held on October 8-10, in Bangkok, Thailand.
According to press secretary of the current Ministry Nurali Shoqurbon, during the event, Nematullo Hikmatullozoda delivered a speech, emphasizing an important role of the ACD Summit in strengthening cooperation among Asian countries in various fields, such as science and education, food and energy security, poverty alleviation, culture, tourism.
The Summit was attended by representatives from 34 Asian countries. The main purpose of this Summit was to discuss the issues related to the development of science, education, technology and innovation, deepening cooperation between Asian countries in the sphere of food security, energy, water, culture, tourism and sustainable development.
