Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, EU Foreign Policy Chief Mogherini to meet within next 10 days
DUSHANBE, 11.02.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, and EU Foreign Policy Chief, Federica Mogherini, plan to hold a meeting in Bonn or Munich within the next ten days, TASS reports citing the Russian Permanent Representative to the EU, Vladimir Chizhov.
«This could happen within the next 10 days either in Bonn or in Munich. Bonn will host a meeting of the G20 foreign ministers on February 16-17, while the annual security conference will be held in Munich on February 17-19. Both of them will be there. They are due to decide on where they will hold a meeting. The mutual agreement on such a meeting was confirmed in a telephone conversation on February 3,» Chizhov said.
Mogherini earlier said that she is planning to discuss the situation in Libya, Syria and Ukraine with Russia’s top diplomat next week.
