Documents ready for SCO National Security Council Secretary meeting
DUSHNABE, 05.04.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On April 3-4, a meeting of experts on preparations for the upcoming 12th session of the SCO National Security Council Secretaries’ meeting took place in Astana, chaired by Kazakhstan.
In a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the experts thoroughly exchanged opinions on the documents concerning stability and security within the SCO that will be submitted for signing at the SCO Summit in Astana in June.
The SCO National Security Council Secretaries’ meeting will take place in Astana on April 5-6, 2017.
The SCO National Security Council Secretary meetings, the first of which was held in 2004, are used to coordinate the SCO member states’ security cooperation within the SCO.
The Republic of Kazakhstan holds the rotating SCO Presidency in 2016-2017.
