Nasim Olimzoda, Minister of Health of the country met with co-chairman of the Tajik-German Intergovernmental Commission
DUSHANBE, 30.05.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Minister of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Nasim Olimzoda met with co-chairman of the Tajik-German Intergovernmental Commission for Financial and Technical Cooperation Kathryn Ollers on May 26 in Bonn.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the meeting Nasim Olimzoda has expressed gratitude to the German side for all-round support of the social spheres of Tajikistan, especially health. At the same time, it was stressed that currently with the direct financial assistance of Germany, projects to protect maternity and childhood, prevent tuberculosis, and provide hospitals with modern medical equipment are successfully implemented in Tajikistan. The sides noted the importance of mutually beneficial relations between the two brotherly countries and expressed their readiness for further cooperation in the implementation of social projects, especially in the areas of health and social protection of the population.
On the same day, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan met with the country director of the German Development Bank Olaf Zimelka in the German city of Frankfurt am Main. The issues related to the implementation of the projects of the German Development Bank in Tajikistan were considered.
