Tajik pupils won gold medals at the 6th Amity International Olympiad
DUSHANBE, 30.05.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Tajik pupils have won gold medals at the 6th Amity International Olympiad on mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. The International Olympiad took place on May 21 — 27 at the University of Amity.
According to the Embassy of Tajikistan in India, Tajikistan’s student participated in the International Olympiad for the first time. Students Rustam Abduvohidov, Vazir Pirov, Umed Ikromov and Amir Juraev attended mathematics Olympiad, and all four participants secured the gold medal in the Olympiad.
It is reported that pupils from more than 10 countries, including Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Romania, Nepal, Laos and other countries have participated in the Olympiad.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in India on May 27 attended closing ceremony of the Olympiad as a guest of honour and delivered a speech.
