Operation “Illegal-2017” identified 120 facts of violations of migration legislation of Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 16.06.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The results of the first phase of operation “Illegal — 2017” were summed up here in Tajikistan.
According to the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country, the operation was conducted with the aim of identifying the facts of illegal labor migration of foreign citizens.
Since the beginning of operation till its completion the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan jointly have identified 120 facts of violations of the migration legislation of Tajikistan by foreign citizens.
In particular, 20 foreigners were expelled from the country for gross violation of migration legislation. In total, 7,150 foreign citizens and stateless persons were subjected to inspection.
It is reported that the second phase of operation “Illegal – 2017” will be held in the country in September and October of this year.
