Korean Keimyung University branch to be opened in Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 07.07.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahmatullo Mirboboev met with the Rector of the University of Keimyung of South Korea Soon Ilhi here in Dushanbe.
According to the press centre of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, during the meeting Rahmatullo Mirboboev, having reminded of extensive cooperation with the Republic of Korea, in particular with Keimyung University, noted that the Tajik State Institute of Languages named after Sotim Ulughzoda and Korean Keimyung University have beneficial cooperation.
During the conversation the issue of increasing quotas for the study of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan in Korean Keimyung University and expansion of Korean language training were also considered.
Rector of Korean Keimyung University Soon Ilhi, in turn, has offered to open Keimyung University branch in the Republic of Tajikistan.
In this regard, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahmatullo Mirboboev proposed before the opening of a branch to establish joint faculty between Keimyung University and one of the higher education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It should be noted that Korean Keimyung University was founded in 1899.
