45 women of Sughd province use presidential grants for the rehabilitation of national handicrafts
DUSHANBE, 25.08.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. 45 women and girls from the cities and districts of Sughd province became owners of the grant of the Executive body of state authority of the province, and they will provide 464 women-housewives with professions and a place of work. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Committee on Women Affairs and Family under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the source, the Chairman of Sughd province Abdurahmon Qodiri at the ceremony of awarding grants noted that the implementation of these grants allow women-housewives to become professional and to improve their family’s social conditions.
It should be noted that the number of grants compared to last year has increased by 15 units in this year and now constitute 105 thousand TJS.
It should be emphasized that every year, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan allocates presidential grants to develop women and girls entrepreneurship activity. The total number of businesswomen of the province, who received the grant of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, is 16.
