Beijing hosted a multilateral meeting of the Ministers of Internal Affairs of Interpol member states
DUSHANBE, 27.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The multilateral meeting of the Ministers of Internal Affairs of the member states of the International Criminal Police Organization /Interpol/ with the participation of the Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China Meng Jiang Zhu and the Minister of Public Security of this country Guo Shengkun was held yesterday in Beijing.
According to the MIA of the country, Tajik Interior Minister Ramazon Rahimzoda attended the meeting. During the multilateral meeting, the issues of organizing and coordinating the activities of the competent law enforcement agencies of Interpol member states in the fight against terrorism, extremism, separatism, and other threats and challenges of the modern world were discussed.
It was noted that taking into account the political situation in the world and the region, the threat of organized crime of the modern world to the countries, the role of Interpol is becoming even more significant.
It was emphasized that the law enforcement officers of the participating countries should jointly combat dangerous crimes, such as terrorism, extremism, human and drug trafficking, weapons and other negative phenomena of the current society.
It should be noted that Interpol is an international law enforcement organization that was established in 1923 in Vienna by the decision of the International Congress of Police.
