Tajik FM met with the EU Special Representative for Central Asia
DUSHANBE, 13.10.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov received the EU Special Representative for Central Asia Peter Burian on October 12 here in Dushanbe, MFA Information Department reports.
According to the source, during the meeting the issues of bilateral cooperation between the EU and Tajikistan, strengthening of cooperation on implementation of the National Development Strategy of Tajikistan for the period until 2030, economic situation in the country, the security and regional issues, as well as other issues of mutual interest have been discussed.
Ambassador Hidajet Biscevic – Head of EU Delegation to Tajikistan, Roland Honekamp – Tajikistan’s Desk Officer of the European External Action Service and Raimonds Vingris – Political Advisor to the EU Special Representative for Central Asia also attended the meeting.
