Festive events in honor of the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 25th anniversary of the XVI Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan held in Beijing
DUSHANBE, 14.11.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the People’s Republic of China held a festive event on the occasion of the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the 25th anniversary of the XVI Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 23rd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan on November 11th.
As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan informed, on opening the event, the Embassy employees congratulated all participants on these significant events. It is noted that historical significance of the XVI Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, the role and contribution of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Mr. Emomali Rahmon in strengthening peace and stability, statehood, the successes of independent Tajikistan and the constant increase of its international authority, as well as national achievements of the country after the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It were emphasized the attention and care shown by the leadership of the state and the Government of the country in relation to the youth, calling them to patriotism, striving for knowledge, acquiring the necessary skills, studying advanced technologies, protecting themselves from all undesirable threats and challenges of the modern world, to follow the laws and rules of the host country, respect the traditions and customs.
The students showed presentations and performed a number of patriotic songs on each festive day. Within the framework of the event, a competition was organized on each topic, and the students were asked the appropriate questions.
At the end of the event, distinguished students and winners of the competition were awarded honorary diplomas and commemorative gifts of the Embassy.
