DUSHANBE, 21.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 19, 2024, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ismatullo Nasredin took part in the International Conference «Strengthening Security for Stability: Reducing the Growing Threats of Cross-Border Terrorism in Central Asia».
The Regional Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Oliver Stolpe, representatives of Central Asian states, international experts and other high-ranking officials.
Existing and potential threats in Central Asia, challenges and best practices in the field of border security and the level of regional cooperation in combating cross-border terrorism were discussed at the event.
