A group of Uzbek journalists will visit Khujand on August 7-8
KHUJAND, 07.08.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. A group of journalists from the Republic of Uzbekistan consisting of 13 people will visit the provincial center of Sugd — Khujand city on August 7-8.
As NIAT “Khovar” regional correspondent Abduahad Dadaboev reports, Uzbek journalists in Khujand will visit the “Kokhi Matbuot” publishing house, get acquainted with the activities of the editorial office of the regional Uzbek-language newspaper “Sughd Haqiqati”, as well as meet with representatives of Sughd province intelligentsia.
Also, the visit to the central market of Khujand city – “Panjshanbe” and the Sheikh Muslihiddin mosque, the Free Economic Zone “Sughd”, as well as familiarization with the exhibition of folk crafts and participation in the cultural program to be held in the historical and cultural complex “Khujand Fortress”.
Uzbek media representatives, as part of their trip, will also visit other cuties and districts of Sughd province, such as Buston, Guliston, Istaravshan, Penjikent, Bobojon Ghafurov, and Shahriston. They will also visit Dushanbe city.
