DUSHANBE, 20.11.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 16, 2018, the first unit of the “Roghun” hydropower plant was launched in Tajikistan.

Soviet and Russian political and public figure, writer, screenwriter, publicist, and journalist Alexander Prokhanov shared his impressions of a recent visit to the “Roghun” HPP in Tajikistan.

“I have seen a lot in my lifetime. My long life allowed me to see the great creations of people, artists, and musicians. I saw terrible destruction, 20 wars that were sewn on the ground. I saw human feats, meanness and treason.

I have always admired, when flower gardens, grandiose creations of human hands appear on the site of destruction and catastrophe. In Rogun, I saw that, where the war had only recently been going on, people destroyed each other, wanted to destroy the young state, and hate reigned, such a “divine beauty” suddenly erected.

I say “divine beauty”, although the process is underground. It would seem that this is an underground beauty, but it is “divine”.

The Tajiks of the new Tajik state, the Tajik President Mr. Emomali Rahmon are great engineers and creators. They descended into the dungeon, pierced and created the whole underground civilization, so that the light would flood and illuminate Tajikistan, the surrounding worlds and all earthly life.

Therefore, I have never seen such a concentration of power, technology, will and energy. Even it becomes afraid of the thought that this is an underground civilization, and this is the fruit of our imagination, calculations, intelligence and revelation.

This station is a kind of temple, where humanity in the face of Tajikistan and the Tajik people are praying for their future and a dream that here bloomed gardens, built a wonderful city, people created a family so that bullets no longer whistle.

The construction of Roghun is a huge cosmic flower. I am happy that I managed to inhale the aroma of this flower. Thanks, Roghun!”.
