President Emomali Rahmon Offers Condolences to Sri Lanka President Maithripala Sirisena
DUSHANBE, 22.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a condolence message to the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena.
The message reads in part:
“Your Excellency,
It is with deep sadness and disquiet that we received the tragic news of the death of several people and injuries of many more resulting from a series of brutal explosions in the friendly Sri Lanka.
We strongly condem this cynical crime and barbaric act and reaffirm the need for a joint, ruthless struggle against terrorism, extremism and all manifestations of violence.
While expressing my sincere condolences and sympathy to the family and friends of the victims, I wish for prompt recovery for those injured.”
