Uzbek FM Kamilov: Tajikistan Able Not Only to Raise Global Issues, But Also to Participate in Solving Acute Problems
DUSHANBE, 17.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Commenting on President Emomali Rahmon’s speech at the high-level conference International and Regional Cooperation in the Fight Against Terrorism and Its Financing Sources, Including Drug Trafficking and Organized Crime, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov noted its importance and the start of a new mechanism of the so-called Dushanbe process.
“Preisdent Emomali Rahmon’s speech made a great impression. This is a deep, meaningful and analytical speech, which raised regional and global issues. Today, following the President’s speech, the participants spoke about the emergence of a new mechanism of the so-called Dushanbe process. Tajikistan today is able not only to raise global issues, but also to be a participant in the process of solving acute problems,» said Kamilov.
Kamilov is in Dushanbe to attend the high-level conference International and Regional Cooperation in the Fight Against Terrorism and Its Financing Sources, Including Drug Trafficking and Organized Crime as well as the seventh Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of the Central Asia Plus Japan Dialogue.
