Tajikistan to celebrate Idi Ramazon (Eid ul-Fitr) on Wednesday
DUSHANBE, 01.06.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Shuroi Ulamo (Council of Ulema of Tajikistan) announced that the Muslims in Tajikistan, alongside Muslim populations around the world, are set to celebrate the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Fitr on June 5, marking the end of 30 days of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
Tajikistan’s grand mufti Saidmukarram Abduqodirzoda says festive prayer on occasion of the end of the holy month of Ramadan will be performed at all mosques of the country at 6:00 am.
The Islamic holy month of Ramadan began on May 6 in Tajikistan, and ends on the evening of June 4.
