Tajikistan and Belarus Intend to Develop Cooperation in the Media Sector
DUSHANBE, 10.07.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Cooperation between Belarus and Tajikistan in the media sector was discussed during a meeting hosted by the Belarusian Information Ministry today.
The Belarusian Information Minister Aleksandr Karlyukevich and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Belarus Mahmadsharif Hakdod discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the media, and faciliating the participation of meadia representatives and writers in international events held in Belarus and Tajikistan.
The parties also identified the necessary measures to implement the cooperation agreement signed by the Information Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan during President Emomali Rahmon’s official visit to Belarus which took place earlier this year on June 28.
