Tajik Specialist Attends Computer Security Discussion in Berlin
DUSHANBE, 30.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – A Tajik scientist took part in a technical meeting on approaches and applications of computer security in the field of nuclear safety, which was held from September 23 through September 27 in Berlin.
The meeting organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was attended by 150 experts and scientists from America, Europe, Asia, as well as the CIS, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, reported the Director of Physics and Technology Institute named after S. Umarov of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Farhod Shokir.
The meeting focused on the approaches to computer security risk in the field of nuclear safety, international safety standards and protocols, functional and organizational computer security, and working sessions.
During the meeting, the experts from Tajikistan, Germany, South Korea and Ukraine developed and presented a package of proposals on computer security for the most important organizations in nuclear safety mode.
The IAEA regularly holds technical meetings focusing on the most important aspects of international nuclear safety.
