President Emomali Rahmon Signs Instruction on Releasing a New Edition of Bobojon Ghafurov’s Book The Tajiks
DUSHANBE, 06.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has signed an instruction for releasing a new edition of Bobojon Ghafurov’s book The Tajiks.
The decision was taken with the goal of promoting the history of the Tajik people and increasing a sense of national identity, pride and self-knowledge. The book will be published through the Presidential Fund and will be distributed to each family as gift for the 30th anniversary of independence.
A corresponding instruction has been given to the Presidential Executive Office, the Ministry of Finance, the Statistical Agency, the Agency for State Procurement of Goods, Works and Services, the Executive Body of State Authorities of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province, Sughd and Khatlon Provinces, Dushanbe, and other cities and regions for the implementation of this decree.
