PM Rasulzoda Inspects Manufacturing Enterprises and Workshops in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 07.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda inspected the activities of the Gulistoni Dushanbe, Yokut-2000 and Tajtex.
These companies have launched the production of medical masks, cotton overalls, special medical protective gowns required for doctors that deal with infected patients.
The production of import-substituting goods has been established in order supply the domestic market with necessary goods. The aim of Tajik producers is also to reduce imports and increase the volume of domestic products using the experience of developed countries.
According to experts, protective clothing and medical masks, which are today produced at Tajik enterprises, are significantly different from imported products in that they have a longer duration of use.
These enterprises have enormous opportunities for increasing production.
In this regard, Rasulzoda instructed the responsible persons of these companies to expedite the production by forming three working shifts.
Also, yesterday, the Dushanbe Administration, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population and the Agency for State Material Reserves implemented target plans for the conclusion of an agreement on cooperation in the procurement of medical products.
The country’s manufacturing enterprises and workshops producing medical materials have established their activities per President Emomali Rahmon’s instructions and are engaged in their production to meet the needs of residents and healthcare facilities.
According to official data, about 20 industrial enterprises are producing more than 160,000 medical masks each day.
Today, manufacturing plants and workshops have a sufficient supply of masks, sets of special protective clothing for residents, doctors, and other necessary materials. Production enterprises and workshops are operating in an intensive mode.
