Over 770 Citizens Return from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan
DUSHANBE, 04.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, 776 Tajik citizens who were stuck at the Zhibek Zholy checkpoint on the Kazakh – Uzbek border finally made it home, reports the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This initiative was implemented in cooperation with the relevant authorities of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, as well as with the Regional Office of the International Organization for Migration in Central Asia.
Earlier this week, 137 citizens were returned through the Dusti checkpoint on the Tajik – Uzbek border.
