Dushanbe Hosts a Briefing Dedicated to Tajikistan’s Chairmanship of the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2025

DUSHANBE, 21.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – A briefing dedicated to the chairmanship of Tajikistan in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2025 was held on December 20 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The main priorities of the country’s upcoming chairmanship in the political, economic and humanitarian areas, as well as in the field of countering challenges and threats to security and institutional development of the Commonwealth were presented at the event.
The heads of diplomatic missions of the CIS member states in Tajikistan, representatives of domestic and foreign media were familiarized with the main elements of the concept of Tajikistan’s chairmanship and a comprehensive action plan approved by the President of Tajikistan and the Chairman of the Council of CIS Heads of State.
