Republican COVID-19 Prevention Commission Prohibits Independence Day Events

DUSHANBE, 02.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Republican COVID-19 Prevention Commission held a meeting. The meeting was presided by the Prime Minister, Commission’s Chairman Kohir Rasulzoda.
The commission decided to prohibit festive, cultural and mass events, conferences and celebrations, parties and other public events dedicated to Independence Day in order to prevent the outbreak of the second wave of the disease.
People are allowed to walk in the parks and squares only with observance of the rules of personal hygiene, mandatory use of medical masks and strict observance of the requirements of social distancing.
