DUSHANBE, 23.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Ministry of Internal Affairs has issued a statement denying that it had issued a Tajik passport to a Russian citizen Ruslan Boshirov.
The secret service of the Czech Republic believes that Russian citizens Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov, who were wanted by the Czech police on October 15, 2014, visited the territory of an arms depot in the village of Vrbetice near the town of Zlín in eastern Czech Republic, wherein an explosion occurred the following day killing two people.
According to the Czech police, the individuals who owned passports in the name of Petrov and Boshirov and who were in the Czech Republic from October 11 through October 16, 2014, also used a Moldovan passport issued in the name of Nikolai Popa, born on July 18, 1979, as well as a Tajik passport in the name of Ruslan Tabarov, born on October 23, 1975.
«The information that has appeared online in connection with the explosion of an arms depot in the Czech Republic which includes a suspects with a Tajik passport belonging to Ruslan Tabarov is unreliable. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and its subdivisions in cities and districts did not provide citizen Tabarov with a passport and there were no requests from the state bodies regarding this fact,” the statement says.
Earlier, the Agency for Public Services of Moldova also reported that it had not issued a passport to Petrov in the name of Nikolai Popa.
