DUSHANBE, 01.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.

The discussion focused over the progress of the implementation of the agreements reached between the parties to normalize the situation in the Tajik – Kyrgyz border areas.

Particular attention was paid to ensure compliance with the ceasefire and the return of troops to their permanent bases.

The counterparts also exchanged views on the joint activities of the working groups for beginning of the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commissions on delimitation and demarcation.
