Emomali Rahmon Expresses Condolences after Passing of Former Algerian President

DUSHANBE, 21.09.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent his condolences to the President of the People’s Democratic
Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The message, reads in part:
“Excellency,
It is with deep sadness that we received the news of the passing away of the prominent politician and public figure, former President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdul-Aziz Bouteflika.
Abdul-Aziz Bouteflika, made a worthy contribution to the establishment and further expansion of friendly relations, and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Algeria, and he will remain in our memory for his constant effort in this field.
I ask Your Excellency, to convey our sincere condolences and words of sympathy to the friendly people of Algeria. To his family and relatives, I wish mental fortitude and patience.»
