President Emomali Rahmon Inaugurates a Number of Social Facilities in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 17.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali attended the opening ceremony of the Rumi Hotel and Residence on Mirzo Tursunzoda Street.
The four star hotel features 84 deluxe and standard rooms and can accommodation 168 people. It is built on an area of over 4,000 square meters by local entrepreneurs in accordance with the national architectural style.
The opening of the Zakiya private preschool educational institution and Kafolat private gymnasium’s additional building followed the list.
A three story building of Zakiya private preschool is built to accommodate 140 children. The classes are conducted in Russia and English.
Kafolat private gymnasium’s additional building is designed for 432 students in one shift, and has 18 classrooms fitted with necessary equipment and teaching aids.
Kafolat gymnasium was opened on September 1, 2009, and the educational process is conducted in Tajik, Russian, and English.
President Rahmon and Speaker Emomali also put into operation the sports complex Kokhi Olimp in Varzishgaron Street in the Sino metropolitan area.
Kokhi Olimp was built by the Closed Joint-Stock Company Safed-Dara and cost 12 million somoni. It’s main hall has 1,000 seats and features for holding training and national and international competitions in football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis.
