Islamabad Hosts a Joint Briefing of the Diplomatic Missions of Tajikistan and the Netherlands

DUSHANBE, 14.03.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, a joint briefing of the diplomatic missions of Tajikistan and the Netherlands was conducted in the Embassy of Tajikistan Islamabad in connection with the United Nations Conference on the Midterm Comprehensive Review of the Implementation of the Objectives of the “International Decade for Action, “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018–2028” (New York, 22-24 March, 2023).
Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan Ismatullo Nasredin stressed importance of the UN Conference, which will be chaired by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander.
The Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Water Resources of Pakistan Hassan Nasir Jamy outlined the position of his country to those present with regard to this important international event.
Representatives of ministries of foreign affairs, water resources, diplomatic corps, UN offices in Islamabad, experts, journalists and Pakistan TV channels participated at the briefing.
