DUSHANBE, 12.04.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. The international conference «Tajikistan and Uzbekistan: new horizons of strategic partnership and alliance» will be held on April 12 in Dushanbe, the Center for Strategic Studies reports.
The event is organized by the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the International Institute of Central Asia (IICA).
A delegation from Uzbekistan has arrived in Tajikistan to participate in the conference.
In this regard, Director of the Center for Strategic Studies Khairidin Usmonzoda met with Director of the International Institute of Central Asia (IICA) Zhavlon Vakhobov in Dushanbe.
A positive assessment of friendly ties between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan was noted.
