The Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands

DUSHANBE, 02.05.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Tajikistan with residence in Astana of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nicolaas Jakob Schermers.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan, during the meeting it was emphasized the strengthening of cooperation in the field of prevention and effective fight against terrorism, extremism, transnational organized crime, illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs, exchange of information and promotion of peace and stability in Afghanistan.
Opinions were exchanged on the current state of prospects of the situation in the region, the world and other topical issues.
During the meeting the important issue of detention and extradition of wanted persons to Tajikistan was discussed. At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation.
