DUSHANBE, 19.06.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. Tajik schoolchildren took the second place among 67 countries of the world at the international Olympiad «GENIUS», reported the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
At the International Olympiad «GENIUS» Tajikistan was represented by 3 teenagers — Shahzod Aliakbarov, Imron Odinaev and Mahmadsaid Faridunzoda from private educational institution Abdurahmon Jami in the category «Genius Robotics».
The GENIUS International Olympiad was held from June 10 to 14 this year at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York (USA), where students of grades 8-12 competed in 8 areas of natural, mathematical and social humanities (design). More than 3,643 participants from 67 countries and 34 U.S. cities took part.
