Tajikistan, OPEC Fund signs MoU to finance the Rogun Dam (Lot 4) Project
DUSHANBE, 26.06.2024 /NIAT «Khovar»/. On the sidelines of the OPEC Fund Development Forum the Minister of Finance of Tajikistan Qahhorzoda Faiziddin held a meeting with the President of the OPEC Fund, Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa.
During the meeting, a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding for the Financing Framework took place between the Republic of Tajikistan and the OPEC Fund to finance the Rogun HPP (Lot 4) Project.
The Memorandum was signed by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan — Qahhorzoda Faiziddin Sattor and the President of OPEC Fund — Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa.
The OPEC Fund Development Forum, entitled “Promoting Sustainable Development and Equity,” is being held on 24-25 June 2024 in Vienna, Austria.
