Central Asian Foreign Ministers Meet to Strengthen Regional Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 09.08.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 9, 2024 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin took part in the Meeting of Central Asian Foreign Ministers in Astana, Khovar reports, citing the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The heads of foreign ministries of the countries considered the issues of activation of political contacts, development and deepening of multifaceted cooperation in the spheres of trade and economy, transport and communication with emphasis on «green economy», and in the field of cultural and humanitarian contacts.
A comprehensive exchange of views took place on the international and regional agendas.
The ministers agreed on the draft agenda and list of final documents of the next Consultative Meeting of Heads of State of Central Asia.
