Tajikistan, Azerbaijan discussed issues to implement e-government and digital technologies

DUSHANBE, 29.08.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On August 27, 2024, in Baku, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilhom Abdurahmon and the Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, during the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of exchanging experience in implementing e-government and digital technologies, coordinating interaction within the framework of regional transport communications particularly increasing cargo transportation along the Middle Transport Corridor and resuming flights on the Dushanbe-Baku-Dushanbe route. They also addressed the participation of representatives from Tajikistan’s industry sector in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Baku this November.
A comprehensive exchange of views took place on other topical sectoral issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.
