Tajikistan and Namibia establish diplomatic relations

DUSHANBE, 27.09.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 26, 2024 in New York on the margins of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of Namibia Mr.Peya Mushelenga.
During the meeting, the signing ceremony of the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic Namibia took place. The Joint Communiqué was signed by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two countries.
The Foreign Ministers also noted the importance of strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Namibia and emphasized that undoubtedly, this new partnership will create additional opportunities for both countries.
