DUSHANBE, 12.10.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On October 12, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, within the framework of his visit to Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province held in Roshtqal’a district a cordial meeting with leaders and activists of the district.

The Head of State Emomali Rahmon expressed his satisfaction with the dedicated work of the people of Roshtqal’a district for the development of dear Tajikistan and contribution to the prosperity of the ancestral land.

It was emphasized that more than 1.5 billion somoni have been directed by the Government of the country to ensure the socio-economic development of Roshtqal’a district and increase the level and quality of life of its residents during the 33 years of independence. In addition, 10 state investment projects worth 62 million somoni have been implemented in the district.

The President of the country emphasized that all the efforts of the Government within the framework of implemented projects are directed at the building and equipping of schools, making available and improving the quality of medical services, maintaining roads, providing electricity to villages, supporting vulnerable groups of the population and agricultural farms, as well as preventing natural disasters.

In particular, it was mentioned that the Social and Economic Development Program of Roshtqal’a district for 2021-2025 is being implemented in order to solve social problems and raise the level of well-being of residents.

In honor of the 35th anniversary of State Independence, the construction and renovation of 206 different facilities in Roshtqal’a district is planned for the total amount of almost 1 billion somoni.

President Emomali Rahmon confidently stated that the management, entrepreneurs and patriotic population of the district together with the relevant ministries and agencies will ensure the commissioning of the remaining facilities within the specified time and with high quality.
