Over 120 Volunteers to Support International Conference on Glaciers’ Preservation

DUSHANBE, 27.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – More than 120 trained volunteers will assist in logistics, registration, delegation support, and cultural events at the High-Level International Conference on Glaciers’ Preservation.
The Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports of Tajikistan emphasized that volunteers play a vital role in the event and in promoting environmental awareness among youth.
The committee highlighted ongoing youth initiatives such as river clean-ups, tree planting, and digital campaigns on climate change.
This conference is part of the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation, declared at the initiative of Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon and supported by over 150 UN member states.
