DUSHANBE, 13.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 13, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, opened several enterprises and workshops of the Syrdarya LLC in Khujand.

The first enterprise to be put into operation was the enterprise for the production of expanded styrofoam building materials.

The new enterprise was built and equipped in cooperation with a group of entrepreneurs from Khujand.

The company for the production of expanded styrofoam building materials was established with the construction of production facilities and industrial infrastructure on an area of 0.31 hectares and the installation of European-standard technology.

The new enterprise was established by domestic entrepreneurs, the Karimov brothers, based on the instructions of the Head of State during his visit to the fruit and vegetable processing factory of the Syrdarya company on July 2, 2020.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, got acquainted with the production process of the enterprise’s products and highly appreciated the contribution and initiatives of domestic entrepreneurs and specialists of the company in implementing the constructive goals of the Government.

The newly established enterprise has established the production of styrofoam building materials using advanced world technology. Raw materials — styrofoam granules are purchased and supplied from Iran and China on the basis of cooperation agreements.

The capacity of the technological line is the production of up to 150 cubic meters of products.

Then, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, remotely opened 4 more new workshops of the Syrdarya Limited Liability Company here.

These are workshops for metal caps, thirst-quenching drinks, fruit and vegetable processing, and ice production.

The company’s entrepreneurs have launched the production of metal caps for canned fruit and vegetable containers by importing a technological line from abroad. The equipment produces 2 types of products — caps for glass containers and twist-off containers.

The factory’s production capacity is 50,000 pieces per day and up to 1.5 million pieces per month of metal caps, and entrepreneurs contribute to meeting the demands of the domestic market with domestic products.

With the establishment of new enterprises and workshops, the share of «Syrdarya», where the production of 5 new industrial products has been launched, the total volume of industrial products manufacturing in the city of Khujand is increasing.

The thirst-quenching drinks workshop was established with the introduction of two technological production lines from the People’s Republic of China and Europe.

The drink is produced in aluminum containers on the first technological line, and in glass containers on the second technological line.

Advanced equipment from Germany and China and the knowledge and skills of specialists allow to produce high-quality products that meet high standards.

The new factory produces thirst-quenching drinks with the taste of fruits, vegetables, and medicinal herbs and plants.

A new fruit and vegetable processing workshop has started operating at the Syrdarya company, which is the second such facility in the company.

All four production facilities have been built on an area of 2.8 thousand square meters.

30 local workers and specialists have been provided with jobs at the new enterprises and workshops.

For the efficient and compliant operation of all enterprises and workshops of Syrdarya LLC, the necessary infrastructure of electricity and heating, roads and communications, technical water, drinking water and other auxiliary facilities has been built and modernized.

Domestic entrepreneurs, along with their worthy role in the development of industry, contribute to the improvement of the city of Khujand. With their contribution, the streets and alleys in the Razzoq neighborhood have been paved and illuminated, a company store has been built, and a recreation area has been developed for residents and guests. A modern sports field, which was built with the contribution of the Karimov brothers in this area on the banks of the Syrdarya, has provided residents of the neighborhood, especially young people and teenagers, with good opportunities and conditions for sports and physical education and holding sports events.

With the contribution and initiative of the founders and entrepreneurs of the Syrdarya company, a vertical well at a depth of 132 meters has been drilled in this area, which provides clean drinking water. All food products of the company’s enterprises and workshops are produced with this clean water, ensuring their high composition and quality.
