DUSHANBE, 15.08.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Secondary Educational Institution No. 129 in the Somoni neighborhood of Firdavsi district is the third educational facility that was opened on August 15 with the participation of the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali.

The facility was built in continuation of the leadership initiatives of the Head of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in the direction of improving the educational environment and developing the field of science and education by domestic entrepreneur Umar Alimadov.

As of today, the number of students of Secondary Educational Institution No. 129 in the Somoni neighborhood of Firdavsi district is 1,733 people. The facility has the opportunity to provide education to the future generation of the nation in the best conditions, as 56 classrooms equipped with the most important educational materials are designed for 2,400 students in two shifts.

The subject rooms for chemistry, biology, physics, geography, labor technology, basic military training, and information technology built in accordance with the requirements will lay the foundation for the development of students’ intelligence and thinking.

The use of two libraries: electronic and traditional, will provide students with access to literature and educational programs stored on websites.

The institution has a total of about 60 computers connected to the Internet.

The spacious and well-equipped sports hall built at the institution will contribute to the promotion and formation of a healthy lifestyle and physical fitness of students.

The assembly hall with 310 seats, a canteen with 216 seats, a doctor’s room, and other auxiliary facilities built at the institution will generally lay the foundation for improving the quality of education and the work of teachers.

While familiarizing himself with the conditions and capabilities of this new educational institution, the Leader of the Nation highly appreciated the quality of construction work and called contributing to the education of the younger generation a worthy act.
